You're running a package inspection factory, use the list of approved items to sort out what is allowed and incinerate any prohibited items. You can never be too careful, a few incinerated packages that should be allowed is an acceptable sacrifice, but letting even a single disallowed package through will result in a heavy fine.

Haha I don't think you were expecting this

I think you might be the only player playing the game properly.

instead of incinerating the bad ones i have just subjected them to eternal suffering

Think incenerating costing 1000$ burns a player from testing out when they're first learning, cus chances r ur gonna mess up right away which means u gotta restart! really good game tho otherwise! def one of the best in the jam.

You don't lose $1000 for incinerating, just for delivering the wrong good. But yes you have to be careful, we wanted players to have a machine that guaranteed delivered the right goods but maybe incinerated some of the right goods as well because we thought that was the most fun to play. I think that it's not the perfect or most balanced system, but it works pretty well for a jam game. When testing out early game I usually just blocked off the delivery area, or paused production, and then built my system with an Xray at the end to be sure it worked. After the early game I found that a few wrong deliveries usually didn't mean the game was over and you just needed to block off an exit for a while. All of this of course doesn't mean anything because I already know how the game works so I don't need to experiment like a new player haha. Either way thanks so much for the kind words, we're pretty happy with it!

Fun game.  Lots of thinking to get the machines set up in the right configuration.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed. I definitely kept a healthy amount of jank in the game because I think it's fun to have to fiddle with the physics to get it to work. And it's very satisfying when you finally do.
